Hilal KAZAN

Hilal Kazan received her B. Sc in Computer Science and Engineering from Sabanci University in 2007. She completed her MSc and PhD degrees in Computer Science in University of Toronto in 2009 and 2012, respectively. In 2012, she joined Antalya Bilim University where she currently serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Engineering. She has been leading several European Union and Tübitak research projects  in the field of bioinformatics. Her research interests include artificial intelligence, machine learning and bioinformatics. She is  (co-)author  of 24 publications in SCI-ranked journals. Her work received more than 3000 citations according to Google Scholar statistics.
