HULYA VURAL received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in computer engineering from Middle East Technical University (METU), and the Ph.D. degree in software engineering from Atilim University, Turkey. She held a Research Assistant position for three years in METU. Then decided to move to the industry to become part of large-scale projects. She worked on a joint HAVELSAN and BOEING project. After experiencing the framework which was developed by BOEING, she decided to move to US to gain more experience on frameworks for such large-scale products. She worked as a Lead Software Development Engineer in Test at Microsoft, Seattle, WA, USA, for nine years. She relocated back to Turkey in 2014, where she worked as software development manager for large scale projects. She is currently working as an assistant professor at Antalya Bilim University.
