The project addresses digital transformation challenges in rural areas!

The recent meeting held in Antalya on the DIGIBOOST project, an EU Erasmus Strategic cooperation project and funded by the Turkish National Agency, brought together partners from Turkey, Spain, Slovenia, Lithuania and Italy to address digital transformation challenges in rural areas. The initiative, with a budget of €250,000, aims to empower these communities through digital entrepreneurship and thus strengthen local economies. The project highlights the importance of digital skills for economic development, especially in rural environments where access to technology and education is limited. It aims to provide education, awareness and technical support to enable individuals to participate in the digital economy, thus creating job opportunities and reducing unemployment in these areas. The partnership led by Antalya Bilim University is an important step towards integrating rural communities into the digital world and ensuring that they are not left behind in the rapidly developing digital environment.
