Course Objectives
The objective of this course is to provide students with fundamental knowledge of construction materials with emphasis on concrete materials, cement, and aggregates. The course aims to develop students’ understanding of the physical and mechanical properties of cement and aggregates, their effects on concrete performance, and the behavior of fresh and hardened concrete in construction applications.
