Biyomekani ve Kinezyoloji

Course Objectives

The aim of this course is to provide students with fundamental knowledge of kinesiology and biomechanics, explain the biomechanical properties of the tissues constituting the musculoskeletal and neural systems, and introduce the mechanical principles underlying normal human movement. The course also aims to develop an understanding of the mechanical behavior of bone, muscle, connective tissue, cartilage, and joints under normal and pathological conditions; body reference planes, movement and gait analysis; and the mechanical and pathomechanical characteristics of the spine, pelvis, and upper and lower extremity joints.
