Müzeyyen Çiğdem AKBAŞ

Müzeyyen Çiğdem AKBAŞ completed her undergraduate education with high honors through a double major program at Yeditepe University in Business Administration (YÖK scholarship) and Economics (merit scholarship). She earned her master's degree in Business Administration from Akdeniz University in 2010, and in 2016 she completed a second master's degree in Gerontology. In 2022, she completed her doctorate in the Accounting subfield of the Business Administration Department at Yeditepe University.

She began her professional career as an Assistant Specialist at Finansbank A.Ş., and subsequently continued as a Financial Analyst at Denizbank A.Ş. Between 2010 and 2013, she served as a Research Assistant in the Gerontology Department at Akdeniz University. During this role, she participated as a researcher in projects carried out between 2011 and 2012 at TU Braunschweig on the topics of "old age and aging," conducted by Prof. Dr. Jürgen Howe in partnership with the Volkswagen and Apple companies.

Between 2013 and 2021, she held the positions of Deputy Director of Social Services and Director of Human Resources and Training at the Antalya Muratpaşa Municipality. She currently works as an Assistant Professor (Dr. Öğr. Üyesi) and Deputy Head of Department in the Business Administration Department at Antalya Bilim University.
