Course Objectives

The aim of this course is to enable students to explain the basic concepts and transmission routes of infectious diseases, recognize infection risks in dental clinics, distinguish infections with oral manifestations and odontogenic infections, apply standard precautions and appropriate infection control measures, and understand the principles of healthcare worker immunization and post-exposure management.
